LGBTQ+ People should be protected from discrimination. <[link removed]>Dear Friend,



Recently, the U.S. House of Representatives took important action and passed the Equality Act. It is now in the U.S. Senate awaiting action. If passed and signed into law, the Equality Act would amend existing civil rights legislation such as the Civil Rights Act to ensure LGBTQ+ people are protected from discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.



It is beyond time that those in power take action so that LGBTQ+ folks are protected from discrimination. This legislation would provide federal protections in critical areas of life such as housing, education, federally funded programs and more but we need your help to get it to President Biden’s desk. <[link removed]>
