From everyday protective equipment to complex medical devices, the rapid spread of COVID-19 has triggered massive government spending in support of patients, healthcare providers, and other essential workers. In this interactive discussion session at the 2021 OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum ([link removed]) , the World Justice Project's Joseph Haley will speak with local justice champions about their efforts to increase transparency in government procurement during the global pandemic. The conversation will focus on practical recommendations and lessons learned over the past year, and how they might apply to the emerging challenges posed by national vaccination programs.

This virtual session is part of the World Justice Project's Rule of Law Solutions Initiative ([link removed]) , a narrative research and reporting program. The World Justice Project is a Knowledge Partner of the virtual 2021 OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum.
