Today would have been the birthday of one of my personal heroes, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I want to take a moment to honor her legacy.
Justice Ginsburg was one of our nation’s greatest legal minds. Long before she was a Supreme Court Justice, her fight for gender equality had already secured her place as an American icon.
A few years ago, I took my young daughter to see the film about her life and legacy. I am confident that Justice Ginsburg’s life will serve as a model for my daughter and children across our country.
Her dedication to our democracy serves as a reminder of how important it is for public servants to uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of all Americans.
