John,

It's hard to believe, but yesterday marked one year since Tom McClintock voted against the Families First Act, the first COVID relief bill of this worldwide pandemic.

One year later, more than 530,000 Americans have lost their lives, and more than 30% of California's small businesses have permanently closed. Even so, Tom voted "no" again on the latest round of COVID relief in Congress. He continues to vote against his constituents' interests while offering no solutions to our current national crisis.

Truly, I hoped we'd be out of this mess by now. But with leaders as ineffective as Tom McClintock in Congress, who knows how much longer it will take to navigate our way out of the pandemic?

We must hold Tom accountable for his failed leadership, and that starts with laying the groundwork to vote him out of office, once and for all. Will you chip in today and be part of the grassroots movement to flip CA-04?

At this stage in the pandemic, there's no excuse for Tom's inaction. The time for partisan games came and went long ago; now is the time to act swiftly and decisively to deliver the aid that millions of Americans desperately need.

After a year in this pandemic, after countless lost jobs, lost lives, and shuttered Main Street shops, Tom's "no" vote on this round of pandemic relief is just the latest sign that he has zero interest in representing our community.

We need leaders who choose to act, not leaders who sit on their hands while their constituents suffer. We need leaders who will promote innovative ideas, not conspiracy theories. We need leaders who will reach across the aisle, working with anyone willing to provide desperately needed relief for millions of Americans struggling right now.

So please, help my campaign committee lay the necessary groundwork for a future campaign against Tom McClintock. The success of that campaign depends on the level of grassroots, community-level support we receive.

Thanks for being part of this grassroots movement to flip CA-04. I hope I can count on your support.
