Last week's 40/40 launch was met with enormous pride from our community. Whether making waves in the world of sports, politics, or academia we were ecstatic to celebrate our first 10 honorees with you!

And now, we're proud to present our second slate of 10 honorees—a group of amazing individuals who do everything from producing hilarious-yet-poignant videos to advocating for peace and non-proliferation to innovating medical breakthroughs.

🇺🇸 Rep. Anna Eskamani is the first Iranian-American woman to ever be elected to public office in Florida

🔬 Armon Sharei, PhD is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of SQZ Biotech, a biotechnology company creating innovative treatments by transforming cells into sophisticated therapeutics

💻 Camilia Razavi is an award-winning community organizer, serial entrepreneur, and digital transformation who is currently a Co-Founder and Partner of Razavi & Black

🏈 David Bakhtiari is an offensive tackle who plays in the National Football League (NFL) for the Green Bay Packers

✌️Derek Johnson is the CEO of Global Zero and the Co-Founder of Beyond the Bomb, an organization that centers young people, women, and people of color in disarmament advocacy

Hoda Katebi is a writer, community organizer, creative educator, and founding member of the Blue Tin Production, an apparel co-op run by immigrant, refugee, and working-class women

⚖️ Melody Shekari is a lawyer and community advocate who became the youngest ever major party nominee when she ran for the Tennessee 3rd Congressional House District

☮️ Sara Haghdoosti is the Deputy Director & Senior Strategist at Win Without War and cofounder of Berim, a non-profit focused on advancing diplomacy with Iran

👩‍⚕️ Dr. Sheila Modir is a pediatric psychologist and mental health advocate whose research interests include the impact of racial trauma on the MENA community

🎥 Yara Elmjouie is a Webby Award-winning, James Beard-nominated video producer, journalist and host with AJ+
