The 65th Commission on the Status of Women ([link removed]) , the UN’s largest annual gathering on gender equality and women’s empowerment, takes place 15 to 26 March, with a focus on examining the progress, gaps and setting a global roadmap towards achieving full equality in public life. This year’s CSW is an important bridge to the Generation Equality Forum ([link removed]) and will be a pivotal opportunity to change our societies and cement women’s leadership as we recover from COVID-19.

After the postponement of the 2020 events due the pandemic, we are delighted to announce the recent public launch of the Forum ([link removed]) in Mexico City, which will take place from 29-31 March, and the dates for the culminating Forum in Paris that will take place from 30 June – 2 July ([link removed]) . The Forum in Mexico, which will be virtual, is now open for registration online ([link removed]) .
