We’re excited to announce that we’re celebrating 5 years of The Democratic Coalition!
The Democratic Coalition started with the goal to directly counter Donald Trump’s actions. Back in November of 2016, a lot of American citizens felt as if all hope was lost. We wanted to use our platform to make sure people knew there was still hope.
Over the past 5 years, the coalition has grown stronger through your support. We remained one of the strongest Democratic social media presences, and continue to grow daily!
Completely through grassroots action, we fought Trump and his supporter’s propaganda head-on, launched multiple campaigns within hours, and set up two impeachment task forces.
In the 2020 Presidential election, we created 65 digital ads for President Biden, Vice President Harris, and 15 Senate races nationally. The Dem Coalition was on the forefront of the Georgia runoff election, creating 2 nationally trending hashtags and reaching over 1.1 million Georgia voters with our ads to help elect Senators Jon Ossoff and Rev Raphael Warnock.
Looking into 2021 and beyond, we know that the destruction and chaos that Donald Trump imposed through his administration will leave a lasting imprint on our country. As we have begun to rebuild through President Biden’s administration, we know our work here isn’t done. We’re looking forward to the next 5 years!
