While Ted Danson may be best known for his Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning performances in television and movies, he is also a long-time ocean and climate activist. In 1987, he founded American Oceans Campaign and in 2001 merged it with Oceana where he sits on its Board of Directors. Ted has worked tirelessly to stop oil spills and offshore drilling, curtail toxic waste and sewage discharges, and reduce marine plastics and overfishing. During this session, Ted sits down with Ceres Executive VP and Chief Program Officer Dawn M. Martin to discuss how he became an environmental activist, what has changed over
the years, and the role of activism for the foreseeable future. |
Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford sits down with Ceres CEO and President Mindy Lubber to discuss the role of companies and the automotive sector in creating a more sustainable future, particularly as the U.S. works to recover from the impacts of COVID-19. |
