New York Co-Chair,
Chele Farley
New York Co-Chair, Chele Farley

In 2020, Chele Chiavacci Farley was the Republican and Conservative party candidate in New York’s Hudson Valley, north of New York City. She ran a close race to her 4-term incumbent, by stressing the necessity to invest in the region’s crumbling infrastructure and advance pro-growth policies that would create jobs. She was also the Republican, Conservative and Reform party candidate for US Senate in New York in 2018, running on a platform to reduce taxes, lower energy costs and institute term limits for federal politicians.

Chele’s father was a scientist who encouraged her to study math, science and engineering. Her interest in these fields led her to major in Industrial Engineering at Stanford University and influenced her commitment to expand educational opportunities in these challenging subjects for all children. After graduating from Stanford with bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Chele joined the financial services industry in New York. She worked at Goldman, Sachs and UBS Capital before joining Mistral Capital International, which is a private equity investment firm specializing in the real estate and energy industries. As a Partner and Managing Director, Chele is responsible for sourcing, executing and overseeing principal investments around the world. She also is a member of several corporate boards, where she focuses on financial responsibility and limiting spending.

To provide students from all backgrounds with the opportunity to receive an outstanding college education, Chele was the Co-Chair of the East Coast Advisory Board of Questbridge, which partners with 40 prestigious universities and has sent over 10,000 talented low-income students to these schools free of charge. Chele also is a board member of the WordPress Foundation and she’s active with the Alzheimer’s Association and their New York City Steering Committee. Chele is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), Stanford University Libraries Advisory Board, The Archeology Center Advisory Board at Stanford University and the Economic Club of New York.

Chele Farley and her husband, Richard, are raising three sons and live in the Hudson Valley in New York.
Meet our newest State Chairs!
Wisconsin Chair, Robin Moore
Wisconsin State Chair, Robin Moore

Robin Moore has been active in grassroots politics since she attended her first Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women (WFRW) convention where she was elected as the 5th District Chairman representing the federation’s clubs to the Wisconsin GOP. With in a year, she was also serving on her local club as chaplain, and was appointed by Reince Priebus to the WIS GOP Executive Board as the Professional Young Republicans Chairman.

When Robin joins an organization, she doesn’t do so to just pay dues and get the newsletter. Her objective is to always help to improve it in some way. If there is a critical role that needs to be filled, she offers a plan to address the needs and then works to get it done. Whether it was to create the first websites for the WFRW, or improve the membership retention process for her local club, the results are positive and long lasting.

In 2018, after years of knocking on doors and making phone calls for candidates, Robin tossed her hat into the ring to represent her district in the state house. It was not meant to be as she came in 2nd in a four-way primary.

With a background in global technology and advertising, Robin engages in challenges with a creative but determined skill-set. Last year, she was serving on a committee that was organized to celebrate the Centennial Celebration of the full ratification of the 19th Amendment at the 2020 Republican National Convention. When the RNC cancelled the convention, the committee was left without a purpose.

Having helped create virtual events for the company she works for, Robin suggested a virtual event taking the participants through important historical milestones leading up to August 1920. With help from the committee and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), she wrote the basic script, and acted as the ‘roving reporter’ for the virtual event broadcast across the entire country! Robin currently serves on 2 NFRW committees, the state board for The Policy Circle, is the Republican Board of Canvassers for her city and is the immediate past president of both her local Republican Women’s club and the WFRW. She also is a founding member a new club poised to go state wide, The Conservative Women of Wisconsin.

Born in northern Illinois, Robin has lived in Wisconsin since 1993. She has been married to her husband Beau for 25 years. They reside in Brookfield with their 2 dogs Murphy and Lambeau. Robin credits (or blames!) her husband for her active role in grassroots politics because when they started dating, they couldn’t go out on a Saturday night until they watched the McLaughlin Group!
Wisconsin Co-Chair,
Leah Vukmir
Wisconsin Co-Chair, Leah Vukmir

Leah Vukmir is the Vice President of State Affairs for National Taxpayers Union – the oldest nonpartisan taxpayer advocacy group in the United States. In March 2019, she joined NTU where she educates and lobbies state lawmakers to adopt policies that lower taxes, streamline government inefficiencies, and promote private markets. Leah draws on her 16-year experience as a state lawmaker in Wisconsin where she was on the frontlines of the education, labor and healthcare reform.

Leah first became involved as a conservative activist fighting for a stronger reading curriculum for her daughter in kindergarten. Her grassroots advocacy eventually led her to run for public office. In 2002 Leah was elected to the State Assembly, and in 2010 she was elected to the State Senate where she served two terms.

During her time in the state Legislature, Leah was an education policy leader. She worked to break down walls to ensure every child in Wisconsin has access to an excellent education through the statewide expansion of opportunities like School Choice. One of Leah's major accomplishments was creating Wisconsin's special-needs scholarship program. This program would not have been possible without Leah’s vision and perseverance against the education establishment and even members of her own party.

A proven conservative leader, Leah stood strong against the special interests that sieged the state Capitol in 2011 and because of her support of collective bargaining reform, Wisconsin taxpayers have seen more than $5 billion in savings. She was also instrumental in a wide variety of labor law reforms, including the repeal of prevailing wage.

Leah is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience working as a pediatric nurse practitioner and educator. Drawing on her background in health care, she became a leader on free market healthcare reform policy.

Elected to serve as assistant majority leader for the Wisconsin State Senate, Leah also served as chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee. She was also a member of the powerful budget-writing Joint Finance Committee, the Education Committee and the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee.

Leah’s steely spine and passion to advance conservative policies earned her the Right Wisconsin Iron Lady Award in 2014 and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) Iron Lady Award in 2017. She was Wisconsin’s Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in 2018 and was proud to have the support of Maggie’s List.
