Dear Friend,

As you know, Community Connect is an organisation set up in 2019, which provides practical support to pregnant mothers and families with young babies. It has supported over 400 families to date and currently they are helping over 20 families all around Ireland every week. In these tough times, there is an ongoing demand for essential items for the families they assist.

Community Connect is running a nationwide contactless donation day called ‘Click for Pick Up’ this Saturday 20^th March, You can donate to support this valuable work in the four simple steps below.

Thank you for your continued support.

DONATE TO HELP MOTHERS AND BABIES IN NEED

1: Visit www.communityconnect.ie/clickforpickup/ and check if Community Connect is collecting in your location

2: Look at the list of items and decide what you would like to donate (they are asking for new items eg nappies, wipes that can be picked up in any supermarket; cash donations can also be accepted in envelope)

3️: Register your details on the form provided.

4️: Leave your items outside your door in a waterproof bag or bin liner by 1pm on Saturday March 20th, and volunteers will pick it up, totally contact-free!

If you are outside the list of areas where donations can be made, or won't be able to get to the shops in time, you can sponsor a gift instead at

Thank you for your support for those in need.

About Community Connect

Community Connect is a volunteer-run national initiative to support pregnant women and new parents in a practical and tangible way.

Many new parents in Ireland, and women experiencing unexpected pregnancies, struggle with the nagging question: how will I provide for my baby? Community Connect exists to help answer this question with practical, material supports so that mums and parents feel more secure and supported in bringing their baby into the world.

Community Connect initially has six volunteer-run ‘hubs’ across the country, where people can donate baby items and parents in need can access them. These hubs are located in Dublin (North and South), Cork, Galway, Athlone & Limerick. We also have volunteers in many other parts of the country, who can access items from our hubs and assist families in need in those locations.

We are not yet a registered charity, but we hope to work towards charitable status.

We rely totally on donations to provide our services to those in need.
