Learning happens when others approve of what you do and what you think. It felt good when getting those gold stars in first grade. It still feels good having someone pat you on the back, say “nice work—you’re right,” even when you’re wrong.

 

So it is with QAnons. Having had little civics education which has been stripped out of our schools’ curriculum, they are now full grown and fair game for the anger and hate being taught on the World Wide Web, and easily manipulated by—dare I say it—Russia and other enemies of freedom.
