Hi there --
We don't have to file an FEC report after tonight. But we do have a deadline, and it's a big one. Today is the last day for our donor match: If we raise $25,000, a generous donor will match every last dollar -- and we're still a few thousand dollars short of our goal. Can you help with a small donation?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Your donation -- and this matching fund -- will help to support:
- More than 150 candidates we’re working with who are on the ballot this November, including 25 in Virginia, where we’re two seats away from flipping each chamber and dramatically changing the course of governing in the commonwealth
-
Our recruitment efforts in states like Texas, where we still need to find great candidates before the December 9th filing deadline in order to win back 9 seats and flip the state house in order to be a part of the redistricting process
-
Our volunteer program, which includes nearly 10,000 active volunteers making candidate screening calls, coaching candidates through problems, and working as part of our research team
-
Our alumni community, where we connect alumni to each other and to current candidates to mentor, support, and build a stronger movement of young people who are sacrificing everything to change the world
-
Our candidate resource hub, which allows us to scale support to thousands of young people running for office (beyond our endorsed candidates) with the info they need to run a grassroots-driven campaign which increases Democratic turn out up and down the ticket
- A scrappy, diverse, always energized team of 15 staffers that’s working around the clock to recruit, support, and empower the people brave enough to put their names on the ballot and actually do something to solve our problems.
All of this is to say: even a few bucks does a lot for our future. More good people running and winning local office is the best defense against GOP bullshit -- and the best path to positive progressive governance.
Thanks for being a part of this team,
