We all know how badly Greg Abbott has failed Texans, and he knows it too. He is absolutely desperate to distract from his failures -- and that's why he called in Kevin McCarthy.

McCarthy and his fellow racist Republicans are meeting today on the border to try to scapegoat their way out of accountability. They're using the oldest move in the Republican playbook: demonizing immigrants to try to distract from the massive amount of harm Republicans are doing.

However, we won't let them, because we know the truth: Republican leaders are not here to help us. Abbott abandoned us in the pandemic, he abandoned us during the winter storm, and last week, every single Republican in Congress voted AGAINST the relief Texans desperately need.

Thanks to Democrats, help is on its way to Texas. Because of President Biden's American Rescue Plan, families are finally getting money in their pockets to help get through this crisis. Schools are getting support so they can start reopening safely, and every state is getting funding to get vaccines to as many people as possible.

When Texans need help, Democrats are there. Right now, we've got to make sure Texans know it. Will you chip in $7 or whatever you can to get the word out about how Democrats are helping Texas communities?
