Joan is a former NASA astronaut and electrical engineer who became the
third Black woman to go into space aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery.

Last year, a fellow former NASA astronaut turned first-time candidate
delivered a Democratic Senate majority by winning a tough-as-nails fight
in Arizona.

Mark Kelly and Joan were BOTH in the same 1996 NASA class of astronauts
together and Joan could join his same Senate class if elected!

Mark delivered us our Senate majority and Joan could be the reason we
retain it.
