Praise God for amazing results as we know of 277 babies saved from abortion through your prayers since February 17!

An expectant mother took a ride-sharing service to her abortion appointment in Flossmoor, Illinois.

Fortunately, her Uber driver was pro-life.

Before dropping the woman off, the driver stopped at the 40 Days for Life vigil so on-site prayer warriors could offer the mom pregnancy help center information.

"She was disbelieving when told about the support offered right next door," reported Rich, who leads the local campaign.

The abortion-bound woman proceeded to the front door of Planned Parenthood before turning back and allowing a vigil participant named Erin to walk her over to the pregnancy help center.

"She spent the next couple of hours receiving an ultrasound and the counseling that makes all the difference in a crisis pregnancy," Rich said.

The appointment at the pregnancy help center transformed the woman's skepticism into joy and hope for the future.

"We’re proud of Erin, who is new to sidewalk counseling," Rich added.

Tuluá, Colombia

A young woman told vigil participants in Tuluá that her 17-year-old friend was pregnant and planning to have an abortion.

Campaign volunteers equipped the young woman to encourage her friend to choose life.

40 Days for Life team members also traded messages with the teen for a week before getting the opportunity to speak with her and her family.

"Her grandmother told the girl that even if they were poor, she would have her support," reported 40 Days for Life Latin American Affairs Coordinator Lourdes Varela. "She finally chose life!"

Columbus, Georgia

A pregnant woman in Georgia arrived at the local abortion facility looking for help.

Fortunately, 40 Days for Life participants reached out and scheduled her for an appointment at the Seneca Choices for Life pregnancy help center, which leads the 40 Days for Life campaign and is located right next to the abortion facility.

"The mom got the immediate help she needed and came back the next day, choosing life!" reported Amber, the local leader.

Just days later, 40 Days for Life participants and Seneca teamed up to save another baby from abortion.

"Thank goodness for the prayer, fasting, and community witness from 40 Days for Life," Amber said. "We felt peace on the sidewalk and Christ’s love was put on display!"

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. O Lord, help us follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Let us humbly and diligently work to restore legal protection for the unborn, the disabled, the medically dependent and all innocent children of God whose lives are threatened. Let us remember the old adage that “He can never lead who has not first learned to obey.” And, Lord, grant us a peaceful heart as we labor in your name.
