NewDems know that the biggest issues facing our country today require bold solutions. That’s why we’ve spent the past month working with our colleagues to pass legislation in Congress that addresses some of the most pressing concerns of the American people, including:

✅   The John Lewis Voting Rights Act: A bill to expand and protect voting rights for all Americans.
✅  The For The People Act: A bill to protect free and fair elections and give individuals more say in our electoral process.
✅  The Equality Act: A bill to expand protections for LGBTQ+ Americans under the Civil Rights Act.
✅  The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act: A bill to increase accountability and fairness in our justice system.
✅  The Bipartisan Background Checks Act: A bill that would require background checks for all firearm purchases.
