Not ever.

John,

Sadly, voter suppression isn’t going anywhere unless we continue to mobilize the people of Georgia.

Last week, state Republicans pushed through significant changes in voting procedures. These changes have been specifically designed to limit the rights of voters across the state, but particularly Black Georgians and folks in the wider Atlanta area.

These are just some of the measures introduced:

  • A voter ID provision for absentee voting
  • “Uniform” early voting dates and hours, regardless of population or location
  • Ballot drop-off location restrictions

Rush a $20 donation or whatever you can to help stop voter suppression now >>

All these changes will only obstruct voting in Georgia. This bill would make it harder for people who want to be involved in the democratic process by making them jump through endless hoops or inconveniences to cast their vote.

In a well-functioning democracy voter suppression doesn’t exist because political parties champion the power of voting. It’s clear Republicans in Georgia aren’t only against democracy, they’re against the people of Georgia.

Stand with us as we say “not today” to these kinds of voter suppression policies. Donate now to help us fight back against disenfranchisement and voter suppression >>
