Not many members of Congress refuse to take money from corporate PACs like Ro.

It makes fundraising more difficult because it requires earning donations from everyday working people who are chipping in what they can, instead of relying on big lobbyist checks.

Our team refuses to accept corporate PAC money. Not a single penny. In fact, Ro started the No PAC Caucus in 2017 in an effort to encourage other members to turn aside corporate PAC money, as well.

And even with the challenges it poses, we think relying on grassroots donors is the right way to represent the people – it ensures we don’t have any corporate strings attached.

That’s why 100% of Ro’s donations are from his constituents, progressive supporters, and working families. They are the people our team is fighting for and who Ro listens to when it comes to writing and passing legislation.

But it also means we need to ask more often for your support to help close the gaps – especially right before our first end-of-quarter deadline of 2021.

Talking heads and the political establishment will be digging through our quarterly fundraising numbers to see if our movement still has grassroots power after the 2020 election. And we need your help to show them our movement is stronger than ever.
