Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene thinks COVID-19 is a “political scam.”
Over 500,000 Americans have died during this pandemic, and Greene has the audacity to tweet that she thinks Americans don't need COVID-19 relief since the virus is a “scam.”
Thankfully, our Democratic majority in Congress was able to pass critical relief legislation even without the help of extremists like Greene, which means help is on the way to millions of Americans across the country.
But the GOP is already kicking their fundraising machine into high gear to get even more right-wing extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene elected. The National Republican Campaign Committee released their list of Democratic 2022 targets, and big GOP PACs are already rolling out plans on how they're going to retake the House.
We know we can defend the House because you helped us do that last fall -- but we only narrowly managed to fend off GOP control, and it's going to take even more resources than last time to keep Republicans from winning back the House.
Right now, we're $3,829 short of tonight's fundraising goal, and if we don't keep up with the Republicans' fundraising at every step, they're going to be able to retake the House and enact their cruel, deadly agenda of withholding relief from Americans who need it most.
