As we pass the one-year mark of navigating the pandemic in the United States, the importance of the Boundary Waters as a sanctuary for so many of us is even more apparent. Thank you for your continued support in protecting this unique boreal ecosystem from the threat of sulfide-ore copper mining. Protecting the BWCA is one of the top priorities in 2021 for The Conservation Alliance
In early March, The Conservation Alliance announced that the fight to permanently protect the Boundary Waters from copper mining was one of their three top conservation priorities for 2021, along with restoring Bears Ears National Monument and protecting the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This is a clear demonstration of the national significance of our Campaign.
We are so grateful to The Conservation Alliance and it’s member companies for their phenomenal partnership over the years and are honored to be included in their new funding program.
