I hope that as a reader, you’ve come to expect the best from PublicSource, and we’d like to continue delivering it. As stories develop, new issues arise and historical patterns and trends become evident, we want our coverage to not only tell you what’s happening, but explain why. When we decide whether we can report on a complex issue or start an innovative project, we have to look at the resources we have available. As a nonprofit newsroom, we don’t have revenue coming in from wealthy owners, endless classifieds or corporate advertisers. We rely on support from our readers to produce more stories.
