Friend,

It’s a new era in the fight to end gun violence.

We have a President and a congressional majority committed to elevating the issue of gun violence. We have a growing coalition of partners supporting our Common Agenda to End Gun Violence-- more than over 100 doctors, faith leaders, veterans, and survivors across Pennsylvania.

We are more grateful than ever to have a gun safety advocate like Senator Casey representing us in the U.S. Senate. That’s why we’re honoring him with our Spring 2021 Keystone Courage Award. We’ll also be featuring other Commonwealth leaders in this public health crisis, who’ll be discussing their gun violence prevention work.

Can you join us, Senator Casey, and other gun safety advocates on May 4th?

We’ll be using an innovative virtual event space that will allow you to “mingle” as you hear about different approaches to addressing the epidemic of gun violence. We invite you to learn more about the issue and provide feedback on the ways you can be a part of the solution.

Senator Casey is a long-standing partner in the fight to end gun violence. He has sponsored gun safety legislation including the Background Check Expansion Act, the Disarm Hate Act, an Assault Weapons Ban, and Extreme Risk Protection Order legislation. He is also the co-author of the Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act, which aims to connect victims with the legal, medical and financial support needed after a gun violence tragedy.

In a time of unity on the issue of gun safety, it is more critical than ever to have a strong voice representing Pennsylvania. Senator Casey is that voice. Join us on May 4th and help CeaseFirePA honor Senator Casey.

Sincerely,

Adam Garber
