This just in from the Washington Post: "Almost one-third of Republicans tell pollsters they 'definitely won't' get vaccinated."

This is 100% because of Trump. He compared COVID-19 to the flu countless times. He played down the danger of the virus for months while Americans died, just for the sake of winning his election and holding onto his power -- forgetting, apparently, that the role of the president means you have an obligation to protect your country and keep it safe.

A former senior Trump official said that he's "the only one who can get to" the GOPers refusing to be vaccinated because they think their refusal shows their loyalty to the failed former president. The damage has already been done.

With Biden in office, we have the tools we need to end the pandemic, but vaccine hesitancy will hurt everyone, regardless of political party. We have to get 75 responses on this survey today, so we're reaching out to you -- because we know you care about your country's health and safety:
