Friend, when Joe Biden won the election last November, we braced ourselves for the inevitable GOP backlash. And right on cue, 43 state legislatures have set into motion 253 bills that restrict voting access, in an attempt to keep low-income and BIPOC voters away from the ballot box.

This coordinated effort to suppress millions of voters leaves the future of voting rights - and our democracy - hanging in the balance. And if these laws survive the courtroom, the Voting Rights Act will be hollowed out even further, along deeply racist and classist lines.

With voting-right experts calling this the "the biggest rollback of Americans' voting rights" since the Reconstruction era, you can count on Democratic Attorneys General to push back.

But more than 30 state AG seats are up in 2021 and 2022, meaning the outcomes of these elections could determine the future of voting rights in America. Can you chip in $1 right now to help us elect Democratic AGs?

The GOP has been furiously chipping away at voting rights for a long time - far before the rise and fall of Donald Trump - but we're now at a dangerous point, where we can't afford to lose any more ground to these anti-democractic, anti-voter attacks.

Dem AGs are fighting back to strike down unjust policies - and will go to bat against GOP AGs. At the same time, they're championing the immediate passage of broad voter protections in Congress, like those found in the For the People Act.

When it comes to protecting voters, it's all hands on deck right now. Team, we need you in this fight with us. If you can, chip in $1 or more to help support this work during an absolutely critical moment for voting rights:
