My name is Casey, and I’m Mary Gay Scanlon’s daughter.
One thing I know about my mom is that she loves campaigning, but she hates asking people for money. The best part of her job and running for this seat is getting to connect with the hard-working people in our community -- but, through those personal conversations on the trail, she knows how much people in our district are struggling.
She believes that it shouldn’t fall on you or them to make sure she has enough resources to win again in PA-05. But unfortunately, there’s a lot of dark money in politics these days, and she needs help from her grassroots supporters to fight back against the special interests and opponents that are targeting her.
My mom has always worked to improve the lives of people in our community. Her advocacy career started a long time before she came to Congress, and I know that she’s not stopping anytime soon. She just needs your help to keep working #ForThePeople.
I’m glad to have such a great representative and mom, and I hope you’ll stand up for her so she can do the same for you.
