And Democrats passed the cost on to our children (with some inflation too)

John-

Dan Crenshaw here.

This week, I continued to call out Democrats for lying about their “COVID Relief” bill and exposed Joe Biden for covering up the crisis at the border that I saw firsthand last weekend.

Now, here’s your campaign brief.
$1.9 TRILLION FOR OUR CHILDREN TO PAY

[link removed]
Joe Biden just signed the $1.9 trillion “COVID Relief” bill into law. But the bill has almost nothing to do with COVID relief.

Only 9% of this bill is related to COVID health care. Only 1% of the bill is devoted to vaccine distribution.

The rest of the money goes to blue states and Obamacare and other progressive priorities.

There is no incentive to open schools or open the economy and there is still around $1 trillion left unspent from past relief bills.

Democrats just bribed the American people with their own money and handed our children a $1.9 trillion bill to pay off.

This isn’t responsible governance.

HERE'S HOW DEMOCRATS DO MATH

[link removed]

The $1.9 TRILLION package means each American pays $5,750.

The government then gives (some of) you back $1,400.

This is Democrat math, and it’s not how we should be governing.

Giving people free money might be popular. But here’s the thing: THIS MONEY ISN’T FREE.

We are burying our economy in debt that our children will ultimately pay for. And guess what, around 100 million people who never lost their jobs are getting a $1,400 check.

We shouldn’t be handing out checks. We should be opening the economy and getting people back to work.

But responsible governance doesn’t fit in the Democrat equation on COVID relief.

WHO PAYS FOR THE CRISIS AT THE BORDER?

[link removed]

There is a crisis at our southern border.

It’s not a “challenge” or a “situation” as Joe Biden likes to call it. It’s a crisis. I saw it firsthand when I toured the border last weekend. Our border patrol is overwhelmed as unprecedented numbers of illegal immigrants flood across our border every single day.

And Texas is paying for the crisis. Since 2008, Texas has spent more than $3.2 BILLION on border security, which is a responsibility of the federal government.

But since the federal government has repeatedly refused to do its job, Texans have had to step up.

That’s why I introduced legislation to pay back states like Texas, who’ve spent more than $2.5 billion over the last 10 years enforcing federal immigration laws.

Joe Biden needs to do his job and get the crisis under control.
