On the eve of passing the American Rescue Plan, a historic relief package to help American families through the pandemic, all Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene had to say was: “Why do we need to spend another $2 trillion for ‘covid?' This right here tells you everything you need to know. Covid is Democrats greatest political scam.”

In peddling her baseless conspiracy theories, MTG is mocking the over 500,000 Americans who've already lost their lives to this pandemic, the millions of families who are facing eviction, and the small business owners who are struggling to keep the lights on. These are real people across our country who are struggling -- and who depend on those in Congress to do their best to help.

But instead, in just a few weeks in office, MTG drafted the article of impeachment against Joe Biden, mocked school shooting survivors and proposed bills to rollback gun control measures, directly attacked reproductive rights, and posted transphobic propaganda in the Capitol.

And if this right-wing Republican doesn't lose her seat in 2022, she might have a Republican majority in the House to fully unleash her extremist agenda without Democratic opposition.

But we have good news, John. Marjorie Taylor Greene already has a challenger. Holly McCormack, a mom and small business owner, is running against Greene, noting that “I looked at my kids, I looked at this past year and everything that's happened in our nation and what's happening here in Georgia, and I said we can't wait around.”

The former communications director for Sen. Raphael Warnock's campaign noted that someone like McCormack could have a shot “if Democrats pull off sky-high voter turnout.” That means investing early, just like we did in Georgia to take the Senate. That's why we're launching our Defeat MTG Fund right now, and why we really need your help.

MTG is an incumbent -- one of the GOP's right-wing favorites -- and she is already raising millions.
