President Biden’s Self-Made Border Crisis
Through promises of amnesty and open borders, the Biden Administration has created an out-of-control surge of illegal immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border. I urged President Biden to take accountability for the crisis his immigration policies have created and to reverse his failed open border policies.
Fighting for Second Amendment Rights
This week, House Democrats passed legislation targeting the gun rights of law-abiding American citizens. However, they rejected a Republican amendment that would have required ICE to be notified if an illegal immigrant tries to buy a gun.
Instead of working to strengthen the enforcement of laws currently on the books, H.R. 8 – Universal Background Checks Act will criminalize many activities that are common practice among law-abiding gun owners, while failing to prevent guns from getting into the hands of criminals.

Washington Democrats Refuse Bipartisan COVID-Relief
During the past year, Congress has authorized nearly $4 trillion in spending to help address the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. $1 trillion of this funding has yet to be spent.
Instead of working with Republicans and Democrats, President Biden and Washington Democrats abandoned every opportunity to provide bipartisan, targeted COVID relief, like safely reopening schools and speeding up vaccine distribution.
