Africa & Europe
- Pray for the IJM Kenya team as they work to launch a new project on the Kenya coast and continue strategic litigation to create accountability for violent police officers. All of these efforts have been plagued with case disruptions due to COVID-19. Pray for the protection of the team and their ability to continue showing up for those who need protection from violence.
Latin America
- Praise God for a major milestone: IJM signed its first collaborative agreement with the business sector in the Dominican Republic. IJM and Aerodom, the largest network of airports in the country, are joining forces to bring an end to sex trafficking in the country by

launching awareness campaigns in their terminals, equipping their staff to recognize the signs of trafficking and establishing additional protocols to report these crimes to local authorities.
South Asia
- Praise God for a successful rescue operation this week that freed 12 people from a dangerous construction site. An IJM partner organization heard about the case when two young children at the site got injured. They worked with local authorities to conduct an operation and bring all 12 bonded laborers to safety. Police have also filed charges against the site owner. Pray for these rescued families, and for the aftercare teams who will help them return home and recover from their experiences of abuse.
Southeast Asia
- Pray for an IJM program manager to be able to return to Myanmar soon. Her return has taken longer than expected and been difficult to plan due to COVID-19. Pray for the team as they continue to work with her remotely, that internet connections and collaboration would be strong even at a distance.
