Kids that are thankful for your generosity

Dear
John,
One year ago today, a National Emergency was declared as the
coronavirus pandemic spread across the country. Schools were closed.
Jobs were lost. And the number of kids living with hunger reached
numbers not seen in a generation.
Today, we're still reeling from the pandemic and its
damaging ripple effects. But in the middle of the chaos and
uncertainty, you and many others rose up to help.
Your generosity fueled the work of a compassionate army of
teachers, school nutrition directors, bus drivers, restaurant owners
and others to move mountains and get meals to kids who needed them.
With your help, they protected the lifeline that delivered food to
millions of vulnerable kids.
And they're still doing it. Today, I invite you to watch a
video that will show you this lifeline in action. It will only take a
few minutes but it will make you proud!

I hope you also feel proud when you read about your incredible
impact. You helped give these local heroes and stricken families food,
resources and hope.

"To hear parents talk and see kids
excited about receiving a bag of food, how could we not want to
continue, make it better and reach more families?"

"We're trying to make it fun,
because this is very scary for the kids. We have received so much
overwhelming love."

"Ever since the coronavirus has been
going on, yes, I've had a hard time putting food on the table. Since
school has been closed, my kids don't eat every day."
- James, Father, Georgia
We have much work ahead of us. But thanks to
you and all those kind spirits who pitched in to help feed kids, there
is hope for tomorrow.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your generosity.
