ALG President Rick Manning joined Real America's Voice host Steve Gruber to talk about the ALG Foundation's in depth analysis of what went wrong with Texas energy. Manning talked about how the state’s 20 percent ownership rule, which prevents any company from owning more than 20 percent of power generating capacity in a region, could be creating a potential perverse disincentive and barring operators from expanding thermal capacity.

"California doesn’t need a federal COVID bailout; tax revenues are booming."

ALG Vice President of Communications Catherine Mortensen's analysis of California's booming tax revenues was featured in the Ceres Courier. "Three out of every five dollars of the direct aid in Biden’s bill would go to states that Biden won in the November election. It seems the COVID spending bill may be targeted more at a Democrat vote-getting campaign for the 2024 election, than in actually targeting areas of need."

"Among the plethora of spending in the $1.9 trillion Covid spending bill is an $88 billion bailout for multi-employer pensions.

ALG Vice President of Public Policy Rick Romano's analysis of wasteful spending in the Covid-19 relief bill was featured in Self-Reliance Central. "Nobody should be surprised by a bailout which will cover 114 of the nation’s 1,400 multi-employer pension plans covering 1.3 million workers being underfunded by $36.4 billion. Of the $36.4 billion in unfunded liabilities, half of it or $17.2 billion is for just one plan, the Teamsters Central States fund."

Former Obama ambassador to Mexico thinks she can solve Biden’s border crisis

ALG Foundation News Director Frank McCaffrey story about the Biden border crisis was featured in the Wilson County News. "The Biden administration is asking for a $4 billion dollars handout for Central America to stem the flow of illegal immigrants!"

ALG President Rick Manning joined host Lars Larson to talk about a package of bill in Arizona aimed at restoring faith to the election system in the wake of the disastrous election in November. "We encourage every state legislature to introduce and pass this model for election integrity in 2021," Manning told Larson.

This week Rick explained the Covid $1.9 trillion is a massive bailout for poorly-run states. "If Democrats want to spend taxpayer dollars on state, local and union bailouts, they should debate them separately rather than creating the world’s biggest Christmas tree with massive giveaways for all their favorite supporters."

"Democrats are exploiting Covid to impose socialism."

ALG Vice President of Communications Catherine Mortensen is heard five days a week on the Nevada Talk Network radio stations. This week she talked about the partisan Covid spending bill. "It's an attempt to get everyone in America hooked on 'free' government money. It will destroy our country."

ALG President Rick Manning joined host Paster Greg Young and former Trump appointee Mark Morgan about the growing Biden crisis at our border. Morgan said 3,000-4,000 illegals are showing up at the border each day and they are being let into the country, no questions asked.

"This is a major step toward restoring Arizonan’s faith in their election system," Manning explained. "These bills would protect the ‘one-person, one-vote principle’ that is the foundation of our elected government."

ALG President Rick Manning tells WIZM radio host Mike Hayes in LaCrosse, WI that the Covid spending bill is really an attempt by Democrats to create a permanent dependency on government handouts.
