Here's the situation: One party wants to expand voting rights to strengthen our democracy -- while the other party is working in state legislatures to restrict these rights and suppress the will of the people.

If the other side succeeds in suppressing enough votes, they'll avoid accountability at the ballot box. The people won't be able to fire these partisan politicians for their unabashed allegiance to an unpopular agenda. We can't let that happen -- we must stop these voter suppression bills and pass strong, federal voter protections like the ones in the For the People Act.
