Spring is almost here! In celebration of the new season and in recognizing that Spring Break 2021 won’t be like breaks of years past, the Women’s and Fair Practices Departments and the Young Organizing Unionists for the Next Generation (Y.O.U.N.G.) Committee are hosting AFGE Spring Break, two weeks of virtual events for our AFGE kids to learn about the union and how to become activists in their own personal spaces.
Our Spring Break events will provide elementary, middle and high-school aged students with age-appropriate training on how to be agents of change. All students will be provided with a t-shirt, and other AFGE swag. Below is our list of events. Please note that week 1 and week 2 events will showcase the same training.
All students must be registered individually, and all registrations are due by the 23>rd! Those who register sooner have a guarantee of having event items delivered to their home before the start of the training.
Don’t hesitate and register NOW! Registration will close at 5 PM EST on March 23rd!
If you have any questions, please contact the Women’s and Fair Practices Department’s Program Specialist, Denver Supinger, at [email protected].
