John,
The pandemic we've been living through for more than a year now has exposed just how well our economy is working for large corporations and the wealthiest Americans — while failing workers, particularly women and workers of color.
Wages have stagnated for the bottom 50% of workers. But for America's 651 billionaires, net worth has increased by more than $1 trillion since last March.1
On Tuesday, the House passed the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, a critical step toward ensuring that workers can organize for a better share of the wealth they create through a union. Now it's the Senate's turn.
Will you join us in calling on the Senate to pass the PRO Act? It's time that we put power back into workers' hands.

Many of the issues we see today — from record profits that have only translated to sky-high CEO compensation to unsafe working conditions and low wages — stem from a sharp increase in corporate power and decline in union power that we've seen over the past few decades.
So it's no surprise that right now, workers at an Amazon fulfillment center in Bessemer, Alabama, are taking historic action to vote on forming the first-ever labor union to represent Amazon employees. Unfortunately, like many workers before them, they're facing a barrage of tactics like paying workers to quit, forcing workers into meetings with management, and endless anti-union calls and texts.
If we pass the PRO ACT, it could very well lead to a once-in-a-generation, revolutionary surge in union organizing — working toward an end to the abuse, harassment, low wages, and unsafe working conditions too many American workers face today.
This legislation faces a tough road in the Senate, but we have the power to demand that Senators stand with workers — not corporate donors. Sign your name to our petition calling on the Senate to pass the PRO Act.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
