I had prepared a long email to send you today about my friend, Senator Tammy Duckworth. It's her birthday, and she just announced her re-election.

That email is below.

But last night, the right-wing Fox News celebrity Tucker Carlson decided to attack women, like Tammy, who have served in the military -- calling them "a mockery of the US military."

This isn't anything new for Tucker. Last year, he called Senator Duckworth "a coward" and an "unimpressive person". He's wrong. She's one of the bravest people I know and very, very impressive.

Will you show Tucker Carlson that we've got Tammy's back and pitch in a few dollars to help kickstart her campaign?

What a week. It's more clear than ever that elections matter; that who is in charge matters. Job #1 as we look ahead to 2022 is to protect our Democratic champions in the Senate.
