The Whitmer Administration just announced that all Michigan adults will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine starting April 5.

In order to roll out these vaccines quickly and efficiently, end the pandemic, and jumpstart our economic recovery, the Michigan Legislature must act quickly to allocate billions of dollars in federal funding.

Yet when faced with another opportunity to put Michiganders first, state Republicans chose to continue playing partisan games. GOP leadership is delaying the release of millions of dollars in school funding because they want Governor Gretchen Whitmer to give up her emergency powers.
