Hello,

The COVID-19 crisis has reminded us just how essential our country's essential workers are. From grocery store workers to delivery drivers and waste collectors, these laborers have kept our country running throughout this crisis — often at great risk to their own health.

It's not enough to say "thank you." We need to have their backs throughout the rest of this crisis and beyond.

That's why I'm working hard to pass legislation to support and protect the rights of our country's laborers and workers. One piece of legislation I'm particularly proud to support is the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.

The PRO Act will strengthen the rights of workers and ensure they are treated fairly and justly. Will you join me in supporting this legislation by signing on as a citizen co-sponsor?

When this pandemic is over, we can't just return to "normal" when it comes to workers' rights. While COVID-19 has heightened the risks our country's workers face, the truth is that our country's workers faced challenges long before this crisis.

The PRO Act makes important progress to protect workers' rights to form a union, to collectively bargain, and to be treated with dignity. I was proud to vote for this legislation earlier this week, and I'm hopeful that we will see progress in the Senate. That's far more likely if the American people speak up in support of it!

Will you join me in supporting this critical legislation? Let essential workers know you have their backs by signing on as a citizen co-sponsor of the PRO Act » [link removed]

It's an honor to serve you,

Derek
