FIRST: Facebook placed a ban on political ad buying which disproportionately hurt candidates like Jennifer Carroll Foy.
THEN: Facebook limited political content that made it nearly impossible to get Jenn’s message out to a broader audience of voters.
NOW: Facebook has lifted their ban and we are now able to use this critical tool to reach voters statewide!

Facebook's ban and limits on political content had a disproportionate impact on candidates like Jennifer Carroll Foy.
Not only are we in an off-year election that historically has less attention, but Jenn’s also a woman of color running with significantly less name recognition than her opponent.
And as polling shows, Jenn’s name ID is the ONLY thing holding her back from winning this election.
There’s no time to waste. Facebook ads and the contribution you give today will have a direct impact on getting Jenn’s message out and will immediately lift her name ID with voters statewide. Contribute now.
Jennifer Carroll Foy was born and raised in Petersburg. In 2017, she flipped a Republican district as a first-time candidate pregnant with twins. During her time as Delegate, Jennifer championed the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, helped expand Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, and advocated for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable communities.
She has a career of public service and it started long before 2017. As a public defender, Jennifer helped give a voice to the often voiceless — children, people suffering from addiction, those experiencing homelessness, those with mental illness, and the poor.
Now she’s running to be the first woman elected Governor of Virginia and serve as the first Black woman to be governor nationwide.
Help her make history. Donate now.
