Hi Friend,

We are less than a week away from 2021 Digital Capitol Hill Days, and today is our priority deadline to register for the event! We’re excited to have activists from across the country join us to advocate for reproductive health and rights for all.

View the complete program and list of speakers and register for 2021 Digital Capitol Hill Days!

Our event will be headlined by Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-IL-09), a tireless supporter of reproductive health and rights, an original co-sponsor of the Global HER Act, and the lead sponsor of the recently introduced Abortion Is Health Care Everywhere Act.

Activists will also hear directly from some incredible speakers about their efforts to expand access to reproductive health care in marginalized communities worldwide, and about the impacts of U.S. policies on their work. Speakers will include:

Voices from the Frontlines: Advocacy and Action for Reproductive Health Worldwide

  • Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng, Medical Doctor, Author, Advocate, and UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health

  • Sandra Casteñeda, Lawyer, Human Rights and Feminist Activist, General Coordinator, Red de Salud

  • Michelle Dubón, Medical Doctor, Advocate, and Medical Director of WINGS Guatemala

  • Annemarie Kamuyu, Operations Manager, National Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission

  • Grace Kamau, Regional Coordinator, Africa Sex Workers Alliance

  • Luisa Orza, HIV & Gender Technical Lead, Frontline AIDS

On Monday, March 22, participants will join us for our Digital Day of Action, where they will meet virtually with their U.S. senators and representatives to advocate for the Global HER Act—a bill that would permanently repeal the Global Gag Rule—and an increase in U.S. funding for international family planning and reproductive health programs.

Today is the priority deadline to register for 2021 Digital Capitol Hill Days, and we want to ensure we can schedule meetings with your U.S. senators and representatives. Sign up now!

We’re so close to passing the Global HER Act, but we need your help to get it across the finish line. We hope you’re able to join us for 2021 Digital Capitol Hill Days.

See you next week,

Rebecca Harrington
Senior Director of Advocacy and Outreach
