Our event will be headlined by Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-IL-09), a tireless supporter of reproductive health and rights, an original co-sponsor of the Global HER Act, and the lead sponsor of the recently introduced Abortion Is Health Care Everywhere Act.

Activists will also hear directly from some incredible speakers about their efforts to expand access to reproductive health care in marginalized communities worldwide, and about the impacts of U.S. policies on their work. Speakers will include:

On Monday, March 22, participants will join us for our Digital Day of Action, where they will meet virtually with their U.S. senators and representatives to advocate for the Global HER Act—a bill that would permanently repeal the Global Gag Rule—and an increase in U.S. funding for international family planning and reproductive health programs.
