Fellow Conservative,
COVID-19 cases in California have been plummeting, and parents are eager to get their kids back into the classroom.
School officials like Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent Austin Beutner have been working hard for a safe return, too. He recently secured 25,000 vaccine doses to cover every teacher and staff member in the district who work with children in sixth grade and below.
Yet, Gavin Newsom and his teachers union allies are doing everything in their power to stop kids from returning to classrooms — including accusing parents of racism!
UTLA president Cecily Myart-Cruz called the tentative plan to partially reopen California schools “a recipe for propagating structural racism.”
Myart-Cruz is pushing a narrative of racism, but in reality, the majority of parents want their kids back in school. Parents are even organizing in South Los Angeles to protest their kids’ schools being shut down, and push to reopen them.
