Last week, the House passed a historic voter protection bill called the For the People Act. 

Among other things, the For the People Act would establish automatic voter registration, prevent voter purging, end gerrymandering, expand early voting, and weaken Citizens United. The thing is, while the majority of Americans support the For the People Act, the Senate is unlikely to pass it.
