Hi,

Spring time means only one thing if you are a senior- you are one step closer to graduation. I'm sure the thing at the top of your to do list is to apply for jobs which is only about the most complicated thing to do during a global pandemic.

However, I'm here to make it easy and invite you to Apply today to be a campus organizer with the Student PIRGs before our Spring Early Application deadline on March 12th

I'm happy to report that despite a pandemic forcing our team to work from home this year, we have not slowed down on our mission to increase the power of student activism on college campuses. We have continued to help students run strategic campaigns to protect the environment, alleviate hunger and poverty, make college more affordable and more! You can read more about our record breaking Spring here

The Student PIRGs are looking for graduating seniors who are ready to make a difference and help recruit and empower the next generation of student activists to join our team as campus organizers.

Does this sound like something you want to do post graduation? Apply today before our Spring Early Application deadline on March 12th

Students are often at the forefront of movements to build a better future for our country. Whether or not those students make real progress depends on whether they are organized, have the skills to be effective and a strategic plan to get things done. The Student PIRGs have been working for nearly 50 years to amplify the power of student activism, and help students tackle some of the country’s most pressing problems. If you want to continue this legacy of helping young people make progress-  apply now join our team!

Our organizers work full-time to provide students the training, professional support and resources they need to move our country forward while also gaining campaign skills themselves. A big bonus is that you will be trained by some of the top organizers in the country yourself. If you want a job where you can make a real impact apply today before our Spring Early Application deadline on March 12th.

Here are just a few of the victories the Student PIRGs organizers have accomplished recently:
  • Nationally we helped thousands of students get registered to vote for the 2020 Elections. We made over 390k GOTV contacts in the final days leading up to Election Day.
  • Our chapters helped to raise over 10k dollars for local organizations during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week in November.
  • In February, we hosted our Annual Federal Lobby day "virtually" and over 150 students met with their representatives to call for Congress to double Pell Grant Funding.
  • In Massachusetts, we helped pass the Student Loan Bill of Rights to protect student loan borrowers and the Pollinator Protection Act to save the bees.
  • In California, we committed the University of California campuses to phase-out single-use plastics, paving the way for campuses to be free of non-essential plastics by 2030.
  • In Oregon, we banned foam cups and take out containers in the city of Eugene.
  • In Florida, we worked to get Eckerd College signed on to the Break Free From Plastics pledge and stop the use of single use plastics on campus.
All the while our program involved and trained thousands of students leaders to work on our campaigns!

If you are ready to be a part of a team that gets things done to build for a better future- I encourage you to apply to be a campus organizer with the Student PIRGs.

Learn more and submit your online application by March 12th.

Best,
