Did you hear what House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), John?

"We're going to get the majority back. We're five seats away. I would bet my house [...] This is the smallest majority the Democrats have had in 100 years. We can do it."

McCarthy has made it clear he thinks Republicans will take back the House in 2022, and he has a reason to be optimistic. Historically, the president's party loses an average of 27 seats in midterm elections.

With Democrats holding a slim five-seat majority, we need to start investing early if we're going to prove history wrong and protect our Democratic House majority.

Will you rush a donation of $5 or more before our mid-month deadline to help ensure we have the resources to protect Kim's seat and our Democratic House majority?

National Republicans know that to take back the House, they need to flip purple districts like Washington's 8th. That's why they've named Kim's seat a top target in 2022. It's only a matter of time before dark money and attacks flood our district again.

This grassroots team helped us flip Washington's 8th district blue for the first time ever in 2018, but we need your support again to keep it blue in 2022. Your early investment in our race will ensure we can fight back against any attacks and defend Kim's seat.

Chip in before our mid-month fundraising deadline to help us prepare for the tough fights ahead.
