Wow, friend,
More than 55,872 supporters have signed EWG’s petition urging the EPA to take action on cancer-linked glyphosate. But I still don’t see your name.
We only have until 11:59 p.m. tonight to convince the EPA glyphosate is not safe!

The EPA is asking to hear from the public on its recent assessment of glyphosate, but we only have until midnight tonight to make sure we include your voice. Please join the fight for your health today!

Thanks for taking action, friend.

Subject: re glyphosate: upcoming deadline!
SIGN IMMEDIATELY
There’s bad news and good news, friend. We’ll start with the bad news.
Earlier this year, we told you we need 100,000 signatures on our petition urging the EPA to take action against cancer-linked glyphosate. The truth is, we only received 37,082 signatures – not nearly enough to go up against Big Ag and Bayer-Monsanto insiders, who have been lobbying the agency for decades.
But there’s good news, too: The EPA extended the deadline for accepting feedback from the public on the dangers of glyphosate – but only until March 12! That means we still have time to tell the EPA to listen to the science.

Remember, glyphosate has been linked to cancer for years, which is why nearly 40 countries have already banned the pesticide. But the U.S. still hasn’t – despite the EPA’s own research confirming that glyphosate is harmful to nearly all endangered species.
Unless 100,000 EWG supporters speak out loud and clear before this deadline, the EPA will continue to put profits over public health. Please, don’t let this opportunity expire without adding your name to our petition.»
