Reorganization Day
Last weekend kicked off an important few weeks for our party as county parties met throughout the state to elect their party leaders. Reorganization Day at the county level was a great success and I’m glad I was able to participate in my county’s, Madison, and drop in on the Marion County Reorganization Day. Congratulations to all our chairs, vice chairs, and other elected county leaders. The success of our party is built on active local parties with engaged grassroots supporters and I am looking forward to continuing to work with our county leaders to grow our party and extend our winning streak.
The national scene, by contrast, is less encouraging than what we’re seeing on the local and state level. You probably saw that Congress has passed a monstrosity of a COVID “relief” package. As you could imagine from a Biden-Pelosi-Schumer led Washington DC, this bill is short on COVID priorities and long on liberal special interest wish lists. Poorly managed blue states are getting bailed out. Pelosi’s San Francisco is getting $600 million of your taxes to erase a budget deficit. $800 million is going overseas. The list goes on and on. In fact, less than 10% of the $1.9 trillion is directly related to COVID and just 1% is for vaccines.
It just shows that Democrats can’t be trusted with power in Washington DC. While they fight to keep our schools closed and our borders open, they’re writing gigantic checks for their socialist supporters. Thankfully, we have the opportunity to win back both the House and Senate in 2022 and I’m confident that a unified Republican Party will do just that.
Thank you
Kyle

Governor Holcomb's Week That Was
Continued Investment in Indiana
Governor Holcomb joined executives from iA as they announced their plans to open the company’s global headquarters in central Indiana. The company is a provider of software-enabled pharmacy fulfillment solutions. iA’s new global HQ currently employs 20 Indianapolis-based employees and plans to create up to an additional 420 new, high-wage jobs in central Indiana.
"With a thriving tech ecosystem and history of life sciences excellence, Indiana is the perfect place for companies like iA to establish its home base. We're excited iA has chosen to grow in Indiana and create hundreds of high-wage jobs for Hoosiers." -Governor Holcomb

Vaccine News
Last weekend, more than 16,000 Hoosiers received their COVID-19 shot at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during a four-day mass vaccination effort! Every time a Hoosier gets vaccinated, we get one step closer to defeating the virus. Vaccinations are eligible for Hoosiers aged 50 and over. Congratulations County Party Leaders
Congratulations to all of our newly elected county party leaders! Our party is built on success at the local level and engaged grassroots supporters. We're excited and ready to keep Indiana's winning streak going! Let's get to work.
Welcome March Madness
Thanks to our state's COVID-19 response led by Governor Holcomb and the Indiana State Department of Health, one of the nation's top vaccine rollouts and a plan to safely host games with fans in attendance, Indiana has the privilege of hosting ALL of the 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament! While the stands might not be full, these games will provide a much needed boost to Hoosier businesses and help revitalize downtown Indianapolis.
"Basketball is part of Indiana’s DNA, our core identity and our globally identifiable trait. So it’s perfectly fitting that all of March Madness will happen on Hoosier hard courts and inside our great cathedrals to the game." -Governor Holcomb
