Dear John

Put your faith into action: support people in poverty speaking truth to power

"Part of God's character is a massive concern for people in poverty and for people who are victims of injustice. Therefore one of the things that Christians are called to do, to worship God and to serve him, is to stand up for people in poverty, stand up against injustice, and to work for change so that poverty can be eradicated."

Stef Benstead is a Poverty Truth Commissioner and a campaigner for disabled people’s rights

Stef is speaking out about her experiences of poverty, as part of a growing movement of people and partner organisations across the UK, committed to upholding dignity, agency and power for everyone.

Could you make a donation now to support Stef, and other people whose personal struggles against poverty inspire them to speak truth to power?

Every bit of support makes a difference. Just 50 people giving £10 each could support another local partner, building dignity, agency and power.

If you have been adversely affected by the pandemic, financially or in other ways, our thoughts and prayers are with you in these incredibly difficult times.

Thanks and best wishes
