Dear Friend, I hope this email finds you and your family well. A nice person stopped me recently and asked: “What can I do?” I immediately knew what she meant. She’s watching a mean, harsh, intolerant national political environment that judges her deepest values as wrong. She’s watching politicians demand unity while belittling her deepest concerns. It’s not fair. She wants to know what to do. I hear the question a lot: “what can I do?” Honestly, I’m encouraged by the question. It means there is an awakening, an awareness, that we have to work to save America. People ask me all the time how they can help. There’s many ways. You can write a letter to the editor to challenge the media's errors or put out a yard sign during election season. You can form a small group of friends to dialogue about constructive politics and action. You can also support us. Every dollar helps. Please help me. Our quarterly fundraising deadline is quickly approaching. These deadlines are crucial to ensuring that we have the resources to continue to fight for you.
