This storm has been brewing too long We’ve been asking for your support to get MPs to back the Sewage (Inland) Waters Bill. If it’s made into law it means water companies will be forced to:
1. Take steps to stop discharging sewage into rivers, lakes and waterways in England
2. Set out plans to reduce their reliance on combined sewer overflows (CSOs)
3. Publicly report on the number, condition and quality of the sewage being discharged from CSOs
