Yesterday, Republican Senator Mike Lee called the For The People Act to
protect our democracy, "a bill as if written in hell by the devil
himself." That is out of step with the vast majority of voters.

Today, we sent this new polling from the Progressive Change Institute to
the media showing that voters nationally and in key swing states support
the For The People Act and other federal voting rights legislation to
strengthen voting rights and stop voter suppression:

Do you support or oppose Congress passing the For the People Act -- which
would restrict government officials from becoming lobbyists, increase
voting access and security, and change campaign finance laws to limit
large donations to political leaders?
SUPPORT OPPOSE
75% 13%

polling, including to more swing states with key Democratic senators.
(These donations are tax deductible.)

Republicans are pushing hundreds of voter suppression bills in almost
every state in the country.

The Progressive Change Institute polling results show that Democratic
senators should feel confident about passing democracy protection bills
and expanding voting access -- even if they have to do it without
Republican support.

We've heard from congressional offices that polling on these issues like
these helps a lot. Many news organizations poll the easy stuff -- but they
don't often poll on democracy issues that impact everything else.

Institute to fund state polls as part of a larger plan to save democracy.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
