In Georgia and other battleground states, Republicans are pushing undemocratic bills to gut voting rights.

If they succeed, it will effectively end American democracy as we know it and usher in an era of unrestrained white nationalism and corporate rule.

To defend our democracy, the House passed the For the People Act this week. Senate Democrats now have a chance to protect voting rights and stop Republicans from rigging the rules before the critical 2022 and 2024 elections.

Unfortunately, moderates like Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin are standing in the way. If they don’t back down on eliminating the filibuster, our democracy could be wiped out by Republican voter suppression.
